The Face Mold Question

I love all the face molds! I am looking forward to more as well but I agree they should be reserved to being introduced on new historicals. I think a new mold every few years would make me happy.

I would love another doll with Kaya's face mold, as well. (Crossing my fingers for Jess!)

As for hair, I would love a modern hair cut on an LE. I understand that they don't want to do anything too out there on a doll added to the permanent collection, but an LE would be perfect!

I would love to see Emily with the Kaya face mold. Some people, particularly children can have rounder faces with skinny bodies.

Like Marilyn2222, I am a fan of the original face mold (including the piggy nose!)

I also agree with her about the face mold that was specifically designed for Josefina. I like it on Josefina and Marisol, but not at all for Nellie and Elizabeth.

I would be interested to see new face molds. I do love the Josefina one though. She was my first doll and Marisol my second. Looking forward to Jess with the "scoop" of a new mold.

I'd also like to see more dolls besides Josie and Addy with earrings. More dolls with short hair than just Kit and Lindsey. More with freckles. The combinations are endless.

Just MHO, but I wonder if, based on the book cover, Jess's hair would be longer than Kit's, but shorter than AGT 25- what say about shoulder length...that's just what I picture when I look at the cover. It looks as if her hair is in rubber bands at the ends. If you let them out, it might be shoulder length.

I wonder if the cost of creating a new face mold
would fource AG to increase prices. I think that
AG will only develop a new face mold for a major character- new historical.

I think they have lots of dolls with bangs already and not enough without. :-) LOL. Funny how different people want different things.

I would like to see new face molds. It can't be so expensive that it would break the company [img]graemlins/angel.gif[/img] I actually wish the'd come away from the bangs. And I'm tired of the centerpart hair. Freckles are cute.

I would love a new face mold. I can't help but notice that the traditional face mold has a piggish nose. I see it everytime I look at one in the catalogue, and it's really starting to bug me, lol. It's also hard for me to really love a doll that has the same face that 3 of my dolls already have (with both the traditional AND the Josefina molds). I really think they need a new face mold. I'd like one that has the same nose as the Josefina mold, but with a closed mouth style, with those same lips. Everything about the Josefina mold looks SO much more realistic to me, compared with the pig nose and tiny lips of the traditional mold. Obviously, I think that mold is adorable, but I don't think I want tooooo many more dolls with it. I'd especially like to see them use more molds with the AGT line. I doubt they will, but how about a few with the Josefina mold?

I would like to see more dolls with modern bangs, like Lindsey's or Nellie's. Lots of little girls still have bangs now, and they're more like that than like the thick blunt cut ones of the historicals and AGTs. My bangs are like that, too, and I know there are many other's who have the thin, feathery bangs. I think they look darling on Nellie, and I'd really like to have another doll with bangs like that. Also, some dolls with layered hair would be cute, like the face framing layers, that would be adorable.

I'd also like to see some new eye colors, a more realistic green, sort of like AGT21's, but more green. And a purpley-blue color, not sure how realistic it could be, but I'd sure love that on a Caucasian doll with black hair!

Also, a doll with freckles everywhere, not just the little sprinkling across her nose, but also on her arms and legs or something. Not a WHOLE lot, just one here and there.

Other than Kaya, I can't tell a whole lot of difference in the molds, so it doesn't bother me. I'd like to see a doll with blue eyes and realistically blonde hair - not the "Barbie" platinum blonde. Also, I'd like to see more dolls with Lindsey-looking curls in various hair colors. I think that style in red hair with freckles would be cute. Change the green eyes - theylook possessed.
